  • Today I watched Casper (the Movie) on tv, and it brought back so many memories. It was one of my favourite childhood movies, and I've probably watched it like 10 times. I know it may seem stupid, but I think it's such a sweet and innocent movie, and you can't find that in a lot of movies these days. Especially my favourite scene, when Casper becomes a boy (Devon Sawa! Remember him??) and he dances with Kat (if you've watched it before, you'll know what I'm talking about!). And the song they dance to is just so perfect.. plus it's at a Halloween party, so it's fitting for this time of year (which I guess is why it was on TV). I know, I'm weird.. I watched it on TV, found it on youtube, and watched it another 20 times.

    And speaking of childhood memories, me and Mimi are going to see SPICE GIRLS in concert!!!! Love them so much (all of them!)! I am so excited!! Can't wait for February 4th. =D

  • It's almost been a year since we left school and started working full-time, and even though our jobs (well, at least my job) may not be as fulfilling as we may wish it to be, I feel very lucky that I'll always have my friends

  • So... after 3 wks of studying, what do I know?

    There are always incentives to manipulate earnings/assets, there are never good controls in place, and only CA's know proper accounting and how to apply GAAP.. therefore, CA's can assess audit risk as high, charge more audit fees, and keep our jobs.

    This is so stupid.. no wonder everyone hates us.

    Can't wait for this exam to be over (3 more days!) ... then I can take more time to enjoy the summer.

    Looking forward to: sleeping in, watching oprah, doing more lunch/dinner/outings with my friends, fixing my hair, Boyz II Men, ... and of course... VEGAS!

    And i am sooo UPSET that the Spice Girls are not bringing their Reunion Tour to Canada. What's up with that??  Who wants to fly to Hong Kong to see it with me? lol... in January.  Or December in the States. I'm serious!!

  • Tomorrow is the beginning of SOA and I feel so sad. I pinky swore with my study group that we'd take the next 3 weeks seriously... but dunno if i can do it.

    Will someone just marry me and support me, so that I can quit my job and never have to work/study again? I hate accounting =( booooo.

  •  My favourite season....

    SPRING is here!

    It feels so nice now that the sun is shining, the weather is warmer, and the birds are chirping. I  Spring! (even the rain is not that bad) Spring always feels like the start of new and wonderful things to me.

    Hopefully, this spring will bring lots of new and exciting beginnings for all of us.

  • I have found my distraction!  I will start yoga next week, and I will make myself go EVERY DAY (haha for that week to see if i like it.. which is still a big commitment for me!). No kidding. So, even though I may be bored... at least this will make me feel too tired to think about it.
